An international scientific-practical conference named «30 years of foreign policy of independent Kazakhstan» dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Toleutay Iskakuly Suleimenov, the first Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan, prominent public figure and statesman of Kazakhstan. The online event was attended by colleagues of Toleutai Iskakuly, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ambassadors and students.
The scientific conference began with a congratulatory letter from President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev. The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shahrat Nuryshev conveyed the warm greetings of the President. Rector of the Academy Erlan Abil read congratulatory letters from the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Askar Mamin to the jubilee owner.
In the plenary session of conference the Secretary of General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Bagdat Amreev, Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Kairat Sarybai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Israel Satybaldy Burshakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Belgium Margulan Baimukhan and Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for Cooperation with Muslim Organizations Konstantin Shuvalov shared their fond memories and congratulations. Additionally, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Romania Nurbakh Rustemov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Serbia Madi Atamkulov, High Commissioner for National Minorities of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Kairat Abdrakhmanov, the rector of Karaganda Technical University Marat Ibatov and employees of the Academy of Public Administration under the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulated by Video, as well as letters of congratulations from Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Serzhan Abdikarimov, President of the non-profit joint stock company «Otandastar Foundation», Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Nurtay Abykayev, rector of the Eurasian National University named after L.Gumilyov Yerlan Sydykov were presented during conference.
Doctor of technical sciences, professor Kabidolla Sarekenov, doctor of chemical sciences, professor, academic of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arystan Gazaliyev noted the path of Toleutai Iskakovich in science. Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies under the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zarema Shaukenova spoke about the personality, teaching and diplomatic qualities of Toleutay Suleimenov.
At the end of conference Toleutai Iskakovich, thanked all the people who met the important day together and expressed their sincere wishes, expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event, noting their contribution to the education of students, the development of Science in the country.
