An educational seminar-training for political civil servants was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on October 22-24. The seminar-training was organized on behalf of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. «The Project Management in Public Administration» program was being held for the first time for political civil servants after the formation of a regulatory framework for project management in the country.
Employees of the Executive Office of the President and the Office of the Prime Minister, vice ministers, deputy akims of regions and cities of republican significance, who are directly involved in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects were attended the seminar-training.
The coaching staff of the seminar-training is certified project managers and business trainers of the Academy. Aim of the program is organization project activities in the country focusing on the practical implementation of ten National Projects and the Concept for the Development of Public Administration in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030. The issues of application of tools and approaches of project management in government bodies to involve managers in project activities were considered during the training. The organizers of the training seminar were the Executive Office of the President, the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, the Ministry of National Economy, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan.
The seminar-training was held in an offline format, taking into account the epidemiological situation and vaccination.
Conclude the seminar-training, 74 political civil servants received a certificate of successful completion of the educational program.
