Today, was a meeting of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan and the N.Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue.
The participants of the ceremony were the rector of the Academy – Yerlan Abil, director of the Institute of Professional Development – Margarita Kadyrova, and from the Center, Chairman of the Board of the Center – Bulat Sarsenbayev, Head of the Institute for Analysis of the Religious Situation and Religious Expertise of the Center – Yerzhan Baibol and Director Zhardemkulov and monitoring the religious situation of the Center and Director of the Department for Analysis and Monitoring of the Religious Situation of the Center Talgat Zhakiyanov.
The signed Memorandum is aimed at close interaction in the development and implementation of joint research, information-analytical and educational-methodological activities on the implementation of state policy in the field of religions between the Academy and the Center.
The goals of the Center are:
- promoting the establishment of peace and harmony among all religions in an atmosphere of mutual respect;
- organization and holding of meetings of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, the Secretariat of the Congress and the Working Group;
- analysis of the state and dynamics of development of the religious situation in the world;
- promotion of the Kazakhstani experience of interfaith dialogue at the international level.
